Whether you are a musician, an Ebay whiz or an event planning expert, your talent can help the Breast Cancer Fund. Generous supporters from across the country have hosted film festivals, retreats, gigs, concerts, dances, sporting events, receptions, car washes, bake sales, online auctions and produced merchandise to benefit the organization. These diverse efforts have helped raise funds and awareness for breast cancer prevention and advocacy. Through annual outdoor physical challenges, the Breast Cancer Fund enables breast cancer survivors and supporters to find strength through adversity and make strides to eliminate the environmental causes of breast cancer. Each year, hundreds of people take part in the Breast Cancer Fund’s fundraising efforts including:

• Climb Against the Odds: Join 40 breast cancer survivors and supporters from across North America as they climb to raise over $500,000 for breast cancer prevention. This year’s training begins in winter 2007 with the climb set for July 8-14, 2007 at California’s Mt. Shasta. To apply visit www.breastcancerfund.org/climb
  
• Peak Hike: Complete with Safe Cosmetics Spa Expo and organic lunch, the event includes over 500 hikers on Mt. Tamalpais, California fundraising for breast cancer prevention.
  
• Bike Against the Odds: Over 500 cyclists on 5 different routes ride from Lake Merritt throughout the East Bay fundraising for breast cancer prevention.
